Lugo Film Week to host Iran’s ‘Passport’

The Lugo Film Week festival in Spain is to screen Iranian short ‘Passport’.

The 43rd edition of the Lugo Film Week festival in Spain has been scheduled to screen Iranian short flick ‘Passport’.

Written and directed by Kousha Afrasiabi, the 13-minute flick will go on screen at the 43rd edition of the Spanish event.

“Some of the threads are closed at the end,” a tagline for the flick reads.

It tells the story of a prestigious doctor who returns to his office building after a few days off. But something strange is happening there.

The doctor, who enters his neighbor's apartment to find out the truth, subconsciously enters an adventure that he has unintentionally started!

And the more he tries to get out of this game, the more he sinks! Some of the threads are closed at the end!

The cast list of ‘Passport’ includes Homayoun Ershadi, Siavash Cheraghipour, Khatereh Hatami, Navid Siahtiri, Peyman Mohseni, and Soheil Mostajabian.

The short flick has so far gone on screen at some global events such as the Under the Moon International Film Festival (Islantilla Cinefórum) in Spain.

The Lugo cinematic event is comprised of three main competition sections for feature films, short films, and documentaries.

The 2021 edition of the festival is slated for September 20 to 25.
