San Francisco event to show Iran’s 'The Kids'

The 14th San Francisco Iranian Film Festival in the US is to screen ‘The Kids’.

The 14th edition of the San Francisco Iranian Film Festival (IFF) in the US has been set to screen the short flick ‘The Kids’.

Made by Amir Daryani, the flick tells the story of a sister and brother who decide to separate due to the conditions of their home and their own behavioral disorders.

‘The Kids’ will also take part in the Fresco International Festival of Modern Art and Spiritual Films in Armenia on August 20-21.

Launched in 2008, the IFF is an annual event showcasing independent features and short films made by or about Iranians from around the world.

It is the first independent Iranian film festival outside Iran, with no affiliation to any political or religious organizations.

The IFF is also a platform for Iranian filmmakers living around the globe to express their vision and talent through the artistic medium of film.

It was established to support the Iranian film and culture in the Iranian-American community of the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond.

The 2021 edition of the event will be held on September 18-19.
