Argentina Parana screening Iranian ‘Patio’

Iranian movie ‘Patio’ has been competing at the 2021 edition of the Parana International Film Festival (PIFF) in Argentina.

Directed by Maryam Bahrololoumi, the movie narrates a feminine story based on a script written by Hamed Qasemi titled ‘The Roof Bell’.

Some of the actors starring in ‘Patio’ are Karim Amini, Yasaman Torabi, Behnaz Jafari, Ali Yaghoubi, Babak Ansari, and Pouriya Poursorkh.

The movie went on screen in the competition section of the 36th Fajr International Film Festival. ‘Patio’ was also present at Eastern Vista and Debut Films sections as well as the international film market of the event.

It has competed in more than 30 international festivals, including the Straight Jacket Guerrilla Film Festival in the UK and the Dhaka International Film Festival in Bangladesh, where it grabbed a Special Mention in Best Feature Film Category.

The 4th edition of the PIFF has been slated for September 3-10, 2021 in Parana.
