Jahan Nama protected area is one of the tourist destinations and attractions of Golestan Province and the southernmost dense forest of this province, which is also known as the roof of Golestan Province due to its height.

This is a dense forest region with an area of ​​30,650 hectares, which is located in the easternmost part of the Alborz mountain range.
