Iran terror themed film ‘Midday Adventures’ available for home release

Iranian movie ‘Midday Adventures’ is set to be on home entertainment release after cinema release in Iran.

Iranian movie ‘Midday Adventures’ by Mohammad-Hossein Mahdavian is set to go on home entertainment release after screenings at Iran theaters came to an end.  

Local media reports said on Friday that the film is scheduled to be offered in the home for Eid al-Fiter which marks the ending of the holdy fasting month of Ramadan.   

'Midday Adventures’, a political drama that portrays the terrorist atrocity of the Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) in Iran during the 1980s, crowned best at the 35th Fajr Film Festival.

Mahdavian’s previous movie ‘Standing in the Mist’ received a Crystal Simorgh for Best Film from the 34th edition of the Fajr Film Festival in 2016.

‘Midday Adventures’ also bagged 4 other Simorgh awards, namely the Audience Favorite Film, Best Scenic Designer, Best Costume Designer and Best Film with National View.
