‘The Pahlavi Hat’ as narrated by virtuoso Majid Entezami

Veteran Iranian musician Majid Entezami has composed music for many movies and television series, including The Pahlavi Hat.

Majid Entezami, veteran Iranian composer, conductor and musician, has composed music for over 80 movies and 9 television series, including iFilm current series 'The Pahlavi Hat'.

As one of the most influential musicians and melody makers for Iranian films with highly appraised works, Entezami has his own special style and music structure but it all shares one thing: melodic, lively rhythms.

Entezami has a profound understanding of the picture and has always tried to tell the untold essence of the story. He also has experience with a variety of styles which has given his portfolio variety, from comedies to the creation of epic war stories like ‘From Kharkheh to Rhein’.

In the attached video, you can watch scenes captured from 'The Pahlavi Hat' TV series accompanied by its score music composed by Entezami.  

His works include ‘Scent of Joseph’, ‘The Fateful Day’, ‘The Glass Agency’ and ‘The Insane Flew Away’, all of which granted him national and international awards.

Besides that, his music for ‘The Train’, ‘Once Upon A Time’, ‘From Karkheh To Rhine’, ‘Attack on H-3’, ‘A Place To Live’, ‘Saint Mary’ and ‘The Men of Angelos’ are some of his most notable, memorable and nostalgic works for Iranians.   

Entezami believes that music tells a part of the story that is not already told in the picture. Some of his works seem to be narrative, almost like part of the script, but he maintains that no director has ever asked him for such characteristics.

Majid is the son of famous Iranian actor Ezzatollah Entezami.
