Enjoy mystical Angooran Salt Dome

Angooran Salt Dome is one of the geological phenomena in which large layers of underground salt move towards the earth's surface and become dome-shaped.

The dome is located in the west of Bandar-Abbas City and north of Angooran village.

The highest point of the salt mountain is 1000 meters above the sea level and the height of the lowest salt outcrop is about 400 meters above the sea level.

To the north of the mountain is an anticline, the axis of which is curved.
