Iran director Ehsan Abdipour reveals in an exclusive interview with ifilm why he shot his new film 'Take Off' in Iran’s southern parts.
He disclosed to ifilm that the reason lies in the fact that he is from Iran’s South “where events don’t occur in apartments” in south, adding, ““If people there [in South] are living in apartment units, they still go to their parents’” houses on the weekends.
Referring to the reason why he choose location in south of the country, he said, “I am a bit lazy. I had some prepared files.”
‘Take Off’ features Iranian artists such as Mostafa Zamani, Reza Yazdani and Hamzeh Moghadam.
The film is a narrative of “some boys’ and girls’ old complexes who try to mass murder them,” a synopsis for ‘Take Off’ reads.
