The Festival del Cinema di Castel Volturno in Italy is to host Iranian movie ‘Reset’.

The Festival del Cinema di Castel Volturno in Italy has been scheduled to play host to Iranian movie ‘Reset’.

Produced by Seyyed-Amir Seyedzadeh and directed by Mohammad-Reza Lotfi, the Iranian movie will be screened at the main competition section of the 4th edition of the Italian event.

‘Reset’ is a film dealing with challenges facing individuals and their personal space.

A brief snippet of the film says, “I think I have gone crazy… I have developed a phobia of sorts towards all of these cameras that are controlling us… I have gone so deep into this matter that I feel as if there is someone behind each camera… Someone who is watching my every move.”

Starring in the film are Reza Behboudi, Soudabeh Beyzaee, Mohammad Sediqi, Hamed Rahimi, Parisa Mohammadi, and Roqiyyeh Afshinpour.

The movie was premiered at the 38th edition of the Fajr Film Festival in Iran.

Launched in 2018, the Festival del Cinema di Castel Volturno is aimed to become an annual prestigious appointment for the Territory and for the National and International film industry.

The project takes its roots from the desire to promote Castel Volturno as a place of interest and point of Reference for the cinema since in the last years it became the set of numerous films, documentaries, short films and video clips thus granting an important slice of artistic production in this area.

The 2021 edition of the Cinema di Castel Volturno is slated for October 25-30.
