This annual festival will be held simultaneously in three villages of Issaabad, Khatam, and Kahnuj of Sarbanan district where are home to the best saffron cultivation in the southeastern province.
The visitors can also spend time in the booths of handicrafts, crops, and souvenirs of this region as well as traditional foods.
Local and indigenous music and games will also be held at the festival.
The saffron season in Iran kicks off every autumn for about four to five weeks.
Persian saffron, known also as red gold, plays the main role in Persian cuisine. The flower thread is used in dyeing wool for Persian carpets, rugs, and yarn.
The Iranian South Khorasan Province is most widely known for its saffron fields.
