Pakistani libraries receive books from Iran

On the occasion of the Book Week of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Iranian Cultural Counselor in Pakistan has donated 200 books to Pakistani libraries.

On the occasion of the Book Week of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Iranian Cultural Counselor in Pakistan has donated 200 books to Pakistani libraries.

As the 29th Book Week of the Islamic Republic of Iran approaches, over 200 titles with different subjects of Iranology, Persian language, history and literature were donated to the National Library and seven prestigious public and specialized libraries of universities and cultural and scientific centers of Pakistan.

The act was done to supplement Iranian resources and enrich the reserves of the National Library of Pakistan.

During the book donation ceremony which was attended by the Director of the National Library of Pakistan (NLP) and the Iranian Cultural Counselor in Pakistan, both sides expressed hope to further develop relations between the National Library of Iran and Pakistan

The Director of NLP also announced the readiness of this library to cooperate with the National Library of the Islamic Republic of Iran in areas of mutual interest.
