iFilm English to start airing ‘Heads on Gallows’

Iranian classic series ‘Heads on Gallows’ has been set to be aired by iFilm English TV.

Airing of the historical series, directed by Mohammad-Ali Najafi, will start on Monday, November 22, 2021.

‘Heads on Gallows’ depicts long ago, when parts of Iran were plundered by Tatar and Mongol forces; when Iranians planned a movement to free the country from the cruelty and oppression.

Uprising of Khorasan people and their leaders made a milestone in Iran history to liberate the country after 120 years of tyranny.

Notable on the cast list are Atash Taqipour, Amin Tarokh, Ali Nasiriyan, Alireza Mojallal, the late Fath-Ali Oveisi, the late Mohammad-Ali Keshavarz, and Enayat Bakhshi.

‘Heads on Gallows’, made in 1984, is scheduled to replace ‘Sheikh Bahaee’, which will be aired daily at 23:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV will also repeat each episode of the social drama on the next day at 05:00, 11:00 and 17:00 (all GMT times). The series is comprised of 18 episodes.
