New episode of ‘Setayesh’ to reveal bitter moments

The eighteenth episode of the series ‘Setayesh’ has been scheduled to go on screen at 21:00 GMT Wednesday night.

Setayesh, who is experiencing ups and downs of life, has to tolerate another bitter incident.

She is pregnant and her husband, Taher, is fighting hard to make ends meet but once again they are surprised with what comes up.

“Taher has just finished two years of military service, defending Iran against Saddam Hussein's war of aggression. His friend, who's deserted the frontline, wants Taher to help smuggle him out of the country. Despite his better judgment, and at the insistence of his friend's sister, Setayesh, he agrees. Taher and Setayesh eventually grow fond of each other and make plans to marry. But a tragedy causes a great gap between their families that threatens to keep the two from ever finding happiness together”, the synopsis to the series reads.

Directed by Saeed Soltani, the cast list of the series includes Daryoush Arjmand, Shiva Khonyagar, Gohar Kheirandish, Azita Lachini, Maryam Boubani, Narges Mohammadi, Mohammad-Reza Iranmanesh, Farahnaz Manafi-Zaher, Mehdi Pakdel, Hadis Miramini, Sima Tirandaz, Mahmoud Azizi, Fariba Naderi, Jamshid Mashayekhi, Mohammad Omrani, Zahra Saeedi, and Mehdi Solouki.
