Iran’s Int’l Children & Youth Theater Festival adds new section

The 27th International Children & Youth Theater Festival has added a new section titled ‘Theater with Performances by Children and Adolescents under 18’.

According to the secretariat of the festival, the new section will “provide an opportunity to see and evaluate the activities of teachers, professors, children and adolescents who make theatrical productions.”

The deadline to submit the works in this section is December 7, 2021.

All dramatic arts produced in the past two years can participate in this section of the festival.

Last year, the 26the edition of the festival hosted some 52 plays from 13 provinces of Iran and seven other countries.

The 27th edition of the festival is slated to take place in the Iranian city of Hamedan in March.
