Let’s watch iFilm’s ‘Era of Constitutional Revolution’ trailer

Website of iFilm English TV Channel has published trailer for Iranian historical series ‘Era of Constitutional Revolution’, premiering tonight.

Produced by Ali Ladoni and directed by Mohammad-Reza Varzi, the series narrates the historical events at the turn of the twentieth century when Iran is ruled by the decrepit Qajar Monarchy.

The weak-willed Shah of Iran continuously gives concessions to colonial powers and is surrounded by traitors who collaborate with England to turn Iran into a servant state.

Among the cast members of the series are Akbar Abdi, Shahram Abdoli, Mohammad Sadeqi, Reza Rouygari, Iraj Rad, Mohammad Motee, Hessam Navvab-Safavi, the late Jamshid Mashayekhi, Azita Hajiyan, Tina Pakravan, Jamshid Jahanzadeh, Changiz Vosouqi, Daryoush Kardan, Saeed Sheikhzadeh, Mohammad-Reza Sharifinia, Yousef Sayyadi, and Zahir Yari.
