Italian Asti filmfest screening Iran’s ‘Do.Solo.Pin’

The Asti Film Festival in Italy is showing Iran’s ‘Do.Solo.Pin’.

The Asti International Film Festival in Italy has been playing host to Iranian short flick ‘Do.Solo.Pin’.

The 11th edition of the Italian fest, currently underway, is screening Javad Atefeh’s award-winning short film.

‘Do.Solo.Pin’ is about the social life of a young woman who is giving care to an elderly man. The decisions the young woman makes are of course of consequences.

The short flick has already taken part in a number of global film events, including the Marina Del Rey filmfest and the Burbank filmfest, both in the US.

It has won a handful of awards such as the Best Narrative award at the Venice Short Film Awards in Italy and the Best Drama Short at the CFIFF film event in Australia.

Founded in 2011, the Asti International Film Festival is an annual event held in autumn. The festival welcomes works from around the world.

The latest edition of the festival has been underway since December 14 and is set to end on December 18.
