Written and directed by Elika Abdollahi, the film revolves around a poor woman and shows that not everyone is trustworthy.
“I tried to say that not everyone is predictable, even those we have trust in," the director has said about her film.
‘Pass’ is starring Mina Hamedani, Hessam Hosseini, Soheil Mirza, and Ebrahim Barzideh.
The short flick won the Best Short Film Screenplay award at the Evolution! Mallorca International Film Festival in Spain, the Founders’ Award Drama Short Film at the Down East Flick Fest, the Gold Writing award at the DC Web & Digital Media Festival, and the Platinum Remi award at the WorldFest Houston, all in the US.
‘Pass’ has also gone on screen at a number of global events, including the River International Film Festival in Italy, the Concordia Film Festival in Canada, the Marbella International Film Festival in Spain, the Shaan-e-awadh International Film Festival in India, the Mister Vorky, International Festival of One Minute Film in Serbia, the Salerno International Film Festival in Italy, as well as the Lost River Fest, the Santa Fe Film Festival, the Imagine This Women's International Film Festival, the GTX Film Festival & Conference, and the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival, all in the US.
