iFilm English TV to air classic movie ‘Kamal-ol-Molk’

iFilm English TV’s feature film ‘Kamal-ol-Molk’ has been scheduled to go on air on May 30, 2026.

The movie, written and directed by Ali Hatami and produced by Hossein Ghafouri, tells the story of famous Iranian painter Kamal-ol-Molk and depicts the ups and downs of his life at the royal court.

He goes from favorite to outcast and back again, while suffering from imprisonment and exile.

He travels through Europe to study art, then goes to Karbala and takes part in the constitutional movement.

The Iranian painter outlives several Qajar kings and ultimately comes face to face with Shah Reza Pahlavi, who takes all his paintings away and exiles him because Kamal-ol-Molk refuses to paint his portrait.

The cast list of the movie includes Ezzatollah Entezami, Davoud Rashidi, Parviz Pourhosseini, Ali Nasirian, Mohammad-Ali Keshavarz, Jamshid Mashayekhi, Sirous Ebrahimzadeh, and Leila Hatami.

‘Kamal-ol-Molk’, made in 1983, is scheduled to go on air at 22:00 GMT.

iFilm English TV will also repeat the movie the next day at 04:00, 10:00 and 16:00.
