‘Autumn Winds…’ to vie at Tehran animation festival

Iranian short animation ‘Autumn Winds, Spring Winds and Two Doves’ is slated to be screened at the Tehran International Animation Festival.

Directed by Sadeq Javadi, the 8-minute animation will be screened at the 12th edition of the event alongside other animated pieces from around the world.

‘Autumn Winds, Spring Winds and Two Doves’ is an adaptation of a book with the same name written by Ahmad-Reza Ahmadi.

The animation has previously participated in a number of global events, including the International Leipzig Festival for Documentary and Animated Film in Germany, the Montreal Festival du nouveau cinema in Canada, the International Children’s Film Festival Bangladesh, and the Cartoon Club- International Festival of Animation Cinema, Comics and Game- in Italy.

The TIAF is a biennial event organized by Iran’s Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults.

This year’s edition of the event is scheduled for March 6-10.
