Visit Dasht-e Shad Forest in Iran

Dasht-e Shad Forest of Shahroud is located 180 km northeast of Shahroud in a village of the same name.

The forest is one of the tourist attractions of Iran; one of the most important features of which is the diversity of forest species and spectacular nature.

The vegetation of the area is mostly forests and its tree species are among the Caspian broadleaf forest trees.

Also, various species of animals such as mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish can be found in Dasht-e Shad Forest.
