iFilm exclusive report on Iranian feature ‘Tooman’

iFilm English TV Channel has released an exclusive report on Iranian movie ‘Tooman’ written and directed by Morteza Farshbaf.

iFilm interviewed the scriptwriter and director, as well as the actors Mir-Saeed Molavian and Iman Sayyad-Borhani.

In ‘Tooman’, Davoud bets his entire earning from a factory job on online soccer gambling; without ever losing on any game, he bets till he loses his life and love.

In addition to Molavian and Sayyad-Borhani, the cast list of the 130-minute movie includes Mojtaba Pirzadeh, Pardis Ahmadieh, Hamed Nejabat, and Sajjad Babaee.

The movie was premiered at the 38th edition of the Fajr Film Festival in Iran, where it earned four nominations and won an award. Morteza Najafi won a Crystal Simorgh for Best Cinematography.

‘Tooman’ also went on screen at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival in Estonia, where it was nominated for the Grand Prize, and won the Best Actress and Best Cinematography awards at the Hafez Awards gala in Iran.
