Indian fest to host Iranian doc ‘Dancing with Rainbow’

Iranian documentary ‘Dancing with Rainbow’ has been selected to compete at the second edition of the Khamrubu International Film Festival in India.

Directed by Hassan Mokhtari, the documentary depicts the life of a young girl, in Mianeh County of the Iran’s East Azarbaijan Province, whose painting skill makes her city beautiful.

Also written and produced by Mokhtari, the documentary has previously garnered the second best short documentary award at the Calcasieu Parish Film Festival in the US and participated in the Mister Vorky Film Festival in Serbia.

According to official website of the Indian festival, Khomrubu the International Film Festival is a platform where filmmakers have the opportunity to showcase their works and present their creativity to the audience.

The 2022 edition of the event will be held on February 26-27.
