CENFLO to screen Iran’s ‘Identibye’

Iranian ‘Identibye’ is to be screened at the Central Florida Film Festival in the US.

Iranian short flick ‘Identibye’ has made its way to the Central Florida Film Festival (CENFLO) in the US.

The Iranian Youth Cinema Society reported that ‘Identibye’, written and directed by Sajjad Shahhatami, will vie at the 16th edition of the festival.

“The protagonist of the story faces a dilemma of choosing between sense and sensibility regarding one’s innermost feelings. He has been judged from the very beginning by the ones closest to him. The fear of these never-ending judgments fills him with doubt and he has to work against the clock to achieve his goal as he knows that one’s true identity is what matters most to them”, a synopsis for the film reads.

The film is starring Amir-Hossein Sabbaghan, Nasim Moslemi, Maryam Najafi, and Hanan Azizi.

The Central Florida Film Festival is about creating an environment for filmmakers to celebrate and enjoy each other's works, to have the opportunity to network across a fun-filled weekend, and to interact with audience members who are seeing their work for the very first time.

The 16th edition of the CENFLO will take place on January 21-23.
