Iranian ‘Synthesis’ on way to Santa Fe Film Festival

Iranian movie ‘Synthesis’ is to vie at the 2022 Santa Fe Film Festival in the US.

Iranian movie ‘Synthesis’ has been selected to compete at the 22nd Santa Fe Film Festival in the US.

Directed by Mohammad Towrivarian, the movie narrates the story of a family who have a disabled child, but they hardly can afford to take care of him.

This problem forces them to make a hard decision on a bitter, dark night.

The film is made in Iranian city of Sanandaj and its language is Kurdish.

The cast of the film includes Bakhtyar Panjeii, Farshid Gavili, Shirin Maazi, and Alan Aslani.

‘Synthesis’ has previously taken part in the Archaeology Channel International Film Festival and the Mysticon Independent Film Festival both in the US.

According to the official website of Santa Fe Film Festival, “it focuses on bringing together distinguished industry specialists and all movie lovers through accessible screenings, panels, workshops and parties!”

The event will be held on February 3-13, 2022.
