According to the Deputy Office of Cultural Heritage and Tourism, the 2022 exhibition will be attended by trade delegations from Pakistan, Turkey, Iraq, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, and Oman.
Following health protocols and social distancing rules, there will also be B2B meetings with companies from China and some European countries, especially in the field of health and medical tourism.
Earlier this week, CHTN reported that panels of travel experts, tour operators, and hoteliers have been invited to hold specialized meetings and workshops during the 15th Tehran International Tourism Exhibition.
The workshops and meetings will be themed upon adventure tourism for the disabled, new travel destinations, involvement of local communities, emerging travel markets, medical and health tourism, ecotourism, agritourism, pilgrimage, and electronic tourism resources.
The 15th Tehran International Tourism Exhibition will be held along with the 35th National Handicrafts Exhibition this year.
According to the officials, the 2022 edition of the exhibition will be hosting global and national cities and villages of handicrafts.
Iran’s Fars Province has also scheduled to unveil five invaluable handicrafts of the province in this exhibition.
The 2022 edition of the event will be held on January 29-February 1 at Tehran Permanent International Fairgrounds.
