iFilm exclusive report on 1st day of 40th Fajr Film Festival

iFilm English TV Channel has released an exclusive report on the first day of the 40th Fajr Film Festival (FFF) in Iran.

‘Beyro’ by Morteza-Ali Abbas-Mirzaee and ‘The Loser Man’ by Mohammad-Hossein Mahdavian went on screen on the first day of the 40th FFF.

‘Beyro’ is a sports drama on the life story of Alireza Beiranvand, the goalkeeper of Iran’s national football team (Team Melli). The movie depicts the journey teenager Beiranvand went through from his birthplace Sarab-e Yas, a small village in Lorestan Province, to Tehran in 2011 when he made his debut in Naft Tehran FC.

The cast list of ‘Beyro’ includes Hossein Beyranvand, Soheil Qannadan, Sara Valiani, Setareh Tarani, Reza Davoudnejad, Saeed Dakh, and Siavash Cheraghipour.

In the part related to ‘Beyro’, iFilm TV interviewed the director, the producer Majid Barzegar, the financier Rouzbeh Pirouz, Beyranvand, Qannadan, and Valiani.

‘The Loser Man’ is the story of a man named Ahmad Khosravi, who is on a mission to solve a mystery case, while his own troubled life is not less of a mystery itself. Deciphering the secrets of the case will impact Ahmad’s life as they will mix up with his doubts and worries.

The cast list of ‘The Loser Man’ includes Javad Ezzati, Rana Azadivar, Majid Norouzi, Babak Karimi, Manouchehr Alipour, Anahita Dargahi, and Mehdi Zaminpardaz.
