iFilm exclusive report on 2nd day of 40th Fajr Film Festival

iFilm English TV Channel has released an exclusive report on the second day of the 40th Fajr Film Festival (FFF) in Iran.

‘Grassland’ produced by Bahram Radan and directed by Kazem Daneshi and ‘Shadravan’ produced by Abbas Naderan and directed by Hossein Namazi went on screen on the second day of the 40th FFF.

‘Grassland’ is about a young man seriously entangled with a criminal case. The man used to be a drug addict, but now he has quit and started a new life with his wife. But his partner in the addiction returns to his life after ten years; while she is still addicted.

The cast list of ‘Grassland’ includes Pejman Jamshidi, Sara Bahrami, Roya Javidnia, Setareh Pesyani, Tarlan Parvaneh, Sirous Hemmati, Hossein Valizadeh, Matin Heydarinia, Yasna Mirtahmasb, Farshad Mojarrab, Farrokh Nemati, and Maedeh Tahmasbi.

In the part related to ‘Grassland’, iFilm TV interviewed the director, Valizadeh, Javidnia, Heydarinia, Mirtahmasb, and Mojarrab.

‘Shadravan’ depicts the hardships of a poor family after the sudden death of the father. Since the father is gone, the family has to deal with some new challenges.

The cast list of ‘Shadravan’ includes Sina Mehrad, Nazanin Bayati, Gelareh Abbasi, Behrang Alavi, Iman Baratpour, Reza Rouygari, Bahram Ebrahimi, and Roya Teymourian.
