‘The Town’ produced by Ali Sartipi and directed by Ali Hazrati and ‘No Prior Appointment’ produced by Mahmoud Babaee and directed by Behrouz Shoeibi went on screen on the ninth day of the 40th FFF.
In ‘The Town’, Navid Falahati is a young man interested in acting. He is accepted in the testing of a big production movie and in order to join the project and achieve his long-held dream of becoming an actor, he has to accept the special conditions and mental training of the actors in an isolated town.
The cast list of includes Saed Soheili, Mahtab Servati, Kazem Sayyahi, Roya Javidnia, Homayoun Ershadi, Shahrokh Foroutanian, Morteza Zarrabi, and Saqi Hajipour.

‘No Prior Appointment’ narrates the story of a woman who comes back to Iran after some 30 years to attend the funeral of her dad and get what he had left for her. All who have immigrated and moved to other lands will eventually come back to their country.
