Iranian movie ‘Mediterranean’ is currently being displayed at the European Film Market (EFM) being held on the sidelines of the Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale) in Germany.

Iranian movie ‘Mediterranean’ is currently being displayed at the European Film Market (EFM) being held on the sidelines of the Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale) in Germany.

Directed by Hadi Hajatmand, the movie will represent Iran at the 2022 edition of the German event.

The film is a social drama that themes on the fight the holy shrine defenders have put up against terrorists.

A brief summary of the flick reads, ‘Can a man come out of an incident alive and tell us his story?’

‘Mediterranean’ has once again costarred Mehraveh Sharifnia and Pouriya Poursorkh, the lead stars of two popular ifilm series ‘Day of Envy’ and ‘Kimia’.

Behrang Alavi, Qasem Zare and Alireza Eshaghi are some other cast members of the flick produced by Rashid Hajatmand.

The Berlin International Film Festival is “one of the largest public film festivals in the world, attracting tens of thousands of visitors from around the globe each year”, the website of the event reads.

The 72nd edition of the festival is currently underway from February 10-20, 2022.
