Iranian short film ‘Gallu’ is participating in the 2022 Bizarrya Short Film Festival in Portugal.

Iranian media reports said ‘Gallu’, directed by Kasra Tirsahar, is competing at the Portuguese event.

Written by Ashkan Shariat, the film is about a rural man who accidently finds a piece of meat. And after cooking it, he notices its strange taste.

The man crazily searches for another meat that tastes the same, but the quest unleashes a series of catastrophes.

The film’s participation in the Portuguese festival marks its fifth appearance in international events.

The Bizarrya Short Film Festival is “a common festival for uncommon movies”, according to an online submission platform.

The 2nd edition of the Bizarrya Short Film Festival kicked off on February 15 and will run until February 28.
