Nigerian Int’l Women's fest to showcase Iran’s ‘Scarf’

‘Scarf’ short film is to compete at the 2022 Women's International Film Festival Nigeria (WIFFEN).

‘Scarf’ short film has been selected to compete at the 2022 Women's International Film Festival Nigeria (WIFFEN).

Directed by Marjan Safabakksh and produced by Arash Mir Ahmadi, ‘Scarf’ is about a family who become the victim of false traditions.

The flick has already been screened at the 2021 Pride Time International Film Festival of Diverse Cinema in Spain and the 62nd Ciné-Rencontres Prades in France.

Maryam Bahrololoumi’s 'Patio' will also appear as Iran representative at the WIFFEN.

The Women's International Film Festival Nigeria (WIFFEN) aims to celebrate women filmmakers around the world.

The Nigerian film festival is to be held at the Convention Center in Abuja, Nigeria on March 4-5, 2022.
