Watch this short animation ‘The Train’

Watch the short Iranian animation ‘The Train’ by Javad Matouri.

Produced by Mohammad-Amim Hamedani, the three-minute animation tells the story of some amputee men who have been bewitched to paddle the wheels of a train forward.

They do not feel anything about the hardships of their task as what they see is the heavenly images shown on a big screen ahead of them.

‘The Train’ has already been screened at a number of global events, including the Victoria Film Festival in Canada, the Santa Cruz Film Festival in the US, the Athens Animfest in Greece, the MAX3MIN virtual film festival in Italy, and the Tehran International Animation Festival in Iran, where it won the Silver Prize for best visual effects.
