Iranian movie ‘Killing the Eunuch Khan’ won the Grand Jury Award at the 28th edition of the Slamdance Film Festival in the US.
Directed by Abed Abest, the movie narrates the life story of a serial killer.
Produced by Shahrzad Seifi, the cast list of the film includes Ebrahim Azizi, Vahid Rad, Misaq Zare, Iman Basim, Sara Mohammadi, and Mahsima Kabari.
The IndieFEST Film Awards Film Festival in the US presented two prizes to Iranian movie ‘Dayan’. Directed by Behrouz Nouranipour, the movie won the awards for best film and best director at the 2022 edition of the IndieFEST.
‘Dayan’ is a movie depicting the struggles of 4 million refugees fleeing the fear and terror caused by the Daesh terrorist group in the Kurdistan region.
Stuck in the middle of a war and not being able to reunite with their loved ones, these families were forced to make some tough decisions.
This is a story about the day after the war, about the people living in a small village, trying to have a better future.
