Directed and animated by Shidokht Dezham Shahabi, the 5-minute short animation will be among the competition titles to screen at the 17th run of the Greek film event.
Produced at Tehran University of Art, ‘Eat, Ate…’ is a short comedy that tries to cast a comedic light on various food habits of different countries and cultures.
A brief synopsis for the short toon reads, “In the search for his mother during an Iranian wedding ceremony, the little lamb learns about food customs around the world…”
The film has already taken part in a number of events, including the 38th Tehran International Short Film Festival in Iran.
The Athens ANIMFEST is an annual international animation film festival in Greece. The event aims to give chance to Greek and foreign artists to show their talent and restless spirit.
This year’s edition of the fest that will also play host to Mahboubeh Kalaee’s ‘The Fourth Wall’ is slated for March 17-20.
