Indian Aravali fest to host Iranian ‘Synthesis’

The 2022 Aravali International Film Festival in India is to host Iranian short film ‘Synthesis’.

Iranian short film ‘Synthesis’ has been selected to compete at the third edition of the Aravali International Film Festival in India.

Directed by Mohammad Towrivarian, the movie narrates the story of a family who have a disabled child, but they hardly can afford to take care of him.

This problem forces them to make a hard decision on a bitter, dark night.

The film is made in the Iranian city of Sanandaj and its language is Kurdish.

The cast of the film includes Bakhtyar Panjeii, Farshid Gavili, Shirin Maazi, and Alan Aslani.

‘Synthesis’ has previously taken part in the Archaeology Channel International Film Festival and the Mysticon Independent Film Festival both in the US.

Named after a mountain range in the northwestern part of India, the Aravali festival aims to present all the beauties of India’s cultural diversity through international cinema.

The event will be held on April 16-17.
