The Iranian Youth Cinema Society, the organizer of TISFF, said the 39th edition aims to identify and introduce the best short films at the national and international level, and to create constructive competition among filmmakers.
Those interested in taking part in the upcoming edition of the TISFF can apply for the festival via this link: www.festival.iycs.ir.
The call for entries will stay open on April 17. The application and submission deadline is July 27.
Last year, the TISFF has been inscribed on the list of the Oscar-qualifying film festivals.
Tehran International Short Film Festival is one of the oldest short film festivals in Iran and the Middle East.
The TISFF is a member of the International Short Film Conference (ISFC), according to the festival’s website.
The upcoming edition of the festival will kick off on October 19 and run until October 24.
