Role of Iranian women in celebration of Persian New Year

Iranian women are culturally considered as the symbol of giving birth, growth, and love while providing happy moments in the family, which is a more important element in celebrations such as Nowruz (Persian New Year).

Nowruz is the revival of nature. It is in fact a celebration in which women play the most beautiful role.

A woman spreads her sincere love and affection at home and makes the family bond strong. The vitality of the family depends on the vitality of the mother.

In the Holy book of Quran, God introduces women as the cause of relief and peace in the family and considers marriage as the cause of achieving peace.

Spring cleaning before Nowruz is a tradition that is kept alive by the ladies of the family who bring vitality with creative moves such as painting the house and changing the decorative design.

Ayatollah Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, says: "Undoubtedly, the role of the mother, as the manager of the home and family, in the peace of the family, father and children cannot be ignored."

Nowruz is the best opportunity for family gatherings and strengthening relations between children and parents. Again, it is the mother who can initiate intimate conversations and strengthen the emotional bonds of the family these days.
