According to the website of Short Film News, Tehran University of Art was named as one of the academies accredited by BAFTA.
This comes as works made by the university’s students, including the short documentary ‘The Doll’ by Elahe Esmaili, have scored significant achievements in the most prestigious festivals and events across the world.
Tehran University of Art became the only active educational institution in Iran that has been inscribed on the lists of educational institutions accredited by BAFTA.
Therefore, the university can propose up to three works annually to compete at the BAFTA Student Film Awards. The submitted works must comply with the competition’s rules.
