Rencontres fest in France awards ‘Parcelles .S7’

Iranian documentary ‘Parcelles .S7’ has grabbed the Best Documentary Award at the 32nd edition of the Rencontres Cinema Nature in France.

A co-production of Iran, Senegal and France, the documentary is directed by Abtin Sarabi.

The documentary has previously been screened at the 26th edition of the Geneva International Film Festival.

‘Parcelles .S7’ is a poetic narration of the challenges and difficulties of a border city.

Some of the poems of well-known Iranian poet Sohrab Sepehri have been used in the film.

The Rencontres Cinema Nature programs center on the link between man and nature and makes audience reflect on the existing problems.

The event was held on April 1-3.
