Iranian flick ‘Hideaway’ features top-quality action scenes on a par with Hollywood counterparts.
The flick currently streaming on an Iranian VoD platform showcases some of the best action scenes comparable with Hollywood action-packed films.
Benyamin Nad-Ali, writer and director of the film said to local media “with the budget and facilities in Iran, a film can be made in the style of Hollywood cinema.”
Explaining his reasons to make the flick, he said, “ The purpose of making ‘Hideaway’ was to show that in Iran, despite the limited budget and facilities, it is possible for us to make films similar to Hollywood works.”
‘Hideaway’ narrates the life of a young man who has lost money for his mother's medical treatment and now joins a criminal team to pay his debts.
The flick was produced in 2020 within a period of two months and was mostly filmed in locations in Tehran and Alborz provinces.
