Produced by Mohammad Masoud, directed by Davoud Mir-Baqeri, and written by Hassan Mir-Baqeri and Mohammad Beyranvand, the series is about a reputable treasurer in Kufa named Shozab who was a companion of Imam Ali (AS), the first Shia Imam, and his son, Imam Hussein (AS).

Shozab gets married to a Christian nun who converts to Islam, but in a dramatic turn of events, he turns his back on his glorious past and falls in love with an evil woman named Homeira.

Notable on the cast list are Amin Tarokh, Fariba Kosari, Sara Khoueeniha, Amin Zendegani, Hadis Fouladvand, Daryoush Farhang, Akbar Abdi, the late Davoud Rashidi, Reza Rouygari, and Siavash Tahmoures.

The cast list goes on with the late Abbas Amiri-Moqaddam, Marzieh Boroumand, Ramtin Khodapanahi, Ahou Kheradmand, Farideh Sepah-Mansour, Maryam Boubani, Saeed Nikpour, Mohsen Qazi-Moradi, and Mostafa Tari.
