Iran's ‘Kite’ to vie at Int'l Youth Film Festival

Iranian short flick ‘Kite’ has been scheduled to take part at the International Youth Film Festival (Kinofest) in Russia.

Written by Mohsen Maleki, produced by Mohammad-Javad Movahhed, and directed by Mohammad-Nabi Talebi, the short film will represent Iran at the 2022 edition of the Russian event.

‘Kite’ is a narrative of a street fight that leads to social solidarity.

The cast list of the short flick includes Aram Nabati, Mohsen Jahan-Panah, Ala Sakhaee, and Farimah Ahmadi.

According to the official website of the event, the Kinofest aims “to promote spiritual, moral, patriotic, artistic and aesthetic education of modern youth."

This year’s edition of the fest is held on May 27-30.
