Iran's Yazd: World’s first mud-brick city

The historical Iranian city of Yazd is known to be the first mud-brick city in the world, astounding visitors with its distinctive wind-catchers, historical houses, and a number of monuments.

Yazd is a city that has kept its historic texture untouched where the neighborhoods still enjoy narrow alleys of clay and mud.
