Breathtaking scenery of inverted tulips in Iran’s Sepidan

When the second fragrant month of spring arrives, inverted tulips sprout on the plains of Sepidan in Iran’s Fars Province, creating a beautiful landscape every year for the visitors.

The full bloom of the fritillaria imperialis tulips, known as inverted tulips, is spectacular, but the flower’s lifespan is short.

Inverted tulips grow in different mountainous areas of Iran. The slopes of the Zagros Mountains are particularly the main place for growing the tulips in Iran.  

Nature lovers and tourists travel to rural areas to see this natural phenomenon.
