Ardabil Province is home to nomads representing tireless efforts in life.

Ardabil Province is home to nomads representing tireless efforts in life.

Nomads of Ardabil Province consist of two large pastoralist tribes, Shahsoon and Qaradagh, and have 45 clans.

They have two moves in a year between summer and winter quarters and being the symbol of tireless efforts fits them well due to the nomad life they have.

The nomads in this province as well as other border areas of Iran show the rich tapestry of Iranian culture and ethnicities.

Ardabil is well-known for natural attractions, hospitable people, and silk and carpet weaving tradition.

The province is very cold in winter and mild in summer, attracting thousands every year. The capital city of Ardabil is usually recorded as one of the coldest cities in the country in winter.
