iFilm exclusive on Iran’s ‘The Situation of Mehdi’

iFilm English TV Channel has released an exclusive report on Iranian movie ‘The Situation of Mehdi’ written and directed by Hadi Hejazifar.

iFilm interviewed the director, screenwriter Ebrahim Amini, the actress Masoumeh Rabbani-Nia, and the actor Rouhollah Zamani.

‘The Situation of Mehdi’, produced by Habibollah Valinejad, is a war drama portraying the life story of Mehdi Bakeri, the chief of IRGC 31st Ashura Division that carried out several major operations during the war.

In addition to the director, Rabbani-Nia, and Zamani, the cast list includes Zhila Shahi, Vahid Hejazifar, and Vahid Aqapour.

‘The Situation of Mehdi’ was nominated in 14 categories and won five Chrystal Simorgh awards at the 40th Fajr Film Festival.

It also won the best film prize at the National Will Manifestation Awards and the Qoqnus Screen Awards.
