iFilm publishes song paying tribute to Imam Reza (AS)

On the auspicious birth anniversary of the eighth Shia Imam, iFilm English TV presents a song titled ‘Birth of a King’ chanted in praise of Imam Reza (AS).

The musical piece by Hassan Tavakkoli beautifully pays homage to Imam Reza (AS) on his birth anniversary, which is on June 11 this year.

The lyrics for this euphonious tribute to the eighth Shia Imam are as follows:  

The earth and the heavens begin to say

The angles celebrate the birth of a king

A king who outshines the stars of the night

A beckon of hope you guide us with your light

Your shrine is a fountain of love that quenches the thirst of every broken heart

A piece of paradise in this desert land

Oh yeah, with grace and kindness you fill our empty hand

Reza (AS) is the beautiful name you bear

The blessings of God upon you is my pray
