PIFF to screen Iran’s ‘Grape Season’

Iranian short ‘Grape Season’ is to be screened at the Pyeongtaek Int'l Film Festival in South Korea.

Iranian short film ‘Grape Season’ has made its way to the Pyeongtaek International Film Festival (PIFF) in South Korea.

‘Grape Season’, directed by Behrouz Khorram, will be screened at the 22nd edition of the PIFF, according to the Iranian Youth Cinema Society.

“We have talked to each other before in Tehran. My mom and I have come here to have some alone time,” a synopsis for the film reads.

The film is co-written by Elham Nami and Khorram himself. The two have also appeared in the film.

The 22nd edition of the Pyeongtaek International Film Festival will take place on June 22-27.

“It will be the film festival of dreams and hopes for all filmmakers who give wings to films that have not yet seen the light in the world,” an online submission platform reads.
