Persian art shining at Turkey’s Trabzon exhibition

The 12th International Art Days in Trabzon, Turkey has been running with the participation of artists from several countries including Iran.

Organized by Trabzon Sanatevi with the contribution of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the 12th International Art Days will run through June 20, 2022.

The opening ceremony of the event was attended by the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Consul General in Trabzon Hossein Saberi and several Iranian artists.

Works by Iranian artists have also been displayed in this exhibition.

Trabzon Art House President Adnan Taç admired the inlay artworks presented by Hadi Chabok, the Iranian artist, saying, “They are very spectacular and interesting.”

He expressed hope that the next time, he will see a wider presence of Iranian artists at the event.

Also, the governor of Trabzon, while visiting and praising the works of Iranian inlay, said, “The rich Iranian civilization and cultural and artistic commonalities between Iran and Turkey show the friendship of the two nations.”

The International Art Days aims to bring together all the colors of art in a more comprehensive and long-term manner.
