Iranian short film ‘Tomb’ (Aramgah) has made its way to the Religion Today International Film Festival in Italy.

The Iranian Youth Cinema Society reported that ‘Tomb’ (Aramgah) by Ali Daraei will vie at the 25th edition of the festival.

The film’s participation in the Italian event marks its international premiere.

This film takes you through the life of Reyhaneh who was behind the death of her baby. She faces problems burying the child while her husband is on the run,” a synopsis for the film reads.

The Religion Today International Film Festival is “the first Italian festival of spiritual cinema and inter-religious dialog”, according to an online submission platform.

The event was founded in 1997.

It “is an international and itinerant film festival dedicated to religious diversity for a culture of peace and interfaith dialog,” the online submission platform adds.

The upcoming edition of the festival will take place on September 14–21.
